There's a video interview out there in which one of our competitors describes their approach to developing business acumen for sales professionals.
They run a simulation for 2-3 hrs. and he says that the participants develop a good understanding of financial statements, inventory management, operations, demand creation, and other key business concepts. That is, they develop good business acumen.
All in 2-3 hours!! Wow! Sometimes it takes me that long to finish a really yummy dinner!
