- The close relationship among the various departments of a company is often unfamiliar to individuals who work exclusively in one department. The big-picture view provided by the simulation was an excellent reminder that every company works much like a living organism, dependent on all other functioning units within the company. It provided valuable insight into how key departments directly impact the business

This simulation brings out these points in dramatic fashion. Every decision by one functional area interacts with the decisions of the others, and if one group goes off track it affects the whole company.
